Laying a run of edging is an hour or two spent kneeling on whatever is there, which is usually gravel, wet soil or paving.
This is a memory foam pad thick enough that none of those come through it.
It folds, and the straps are on the pad rather than sold as an extra, so it carries out to the garden with the mallet.
